Yummy fasting sweet Potatoes Chips Recipe Ingredients
- 250 Grams of sweet potatoes
- 2 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon green cardamom powder/ Elaichi Powder
- 2 Tablespoon Desi ghee (Indian Clarified Butter)
Sweet potatoes are more nutritious if cook it with its skin.
Rinse sweet potatoes thoroughly by water to get rid of mud and dry it on kitchen towel. Using a knife, cut off any woody portions and ends.
You can slightly peel sweet potatoes, if there is any damage portion. Then do the thin slices of each sweet potato similar to potato chips.
Take 2 tablespoon desi ghee (Indian Clarified Butter) in hot non stick pan.
Then immediately add slices of sweet potatoes.
After some time it will start absorbing desi ghee then stir all the slices until they get soften and looks shiny with little brown color.
Stir the slices occasionally by covering its lid. So that slices will not stick with each other.
Now spread the 2 tablespoon of sugar on the slices and fry till the sugar get melt.
Then add 1 Tablespoon green cardamom powder and mix well, It will tends to lose its flavour and aroma soon.
Now switch off the flame and immediately serve sweet and yummy flavoured sweet potatoes chips.
