Sabudana Khichadi recipe Preparation
Take 2 cups of sabudana (tapioca pearls) and rinse it with running water and soak them in enough water for few minutes then drain the water from sabudana and soak it for overnight (Max 8 to 10 Hours).
Take 1 cup of peanuts in kadai/pan on low flame and roast it till they get little brown in colour.
Remove roasted peanuts skin and coarsely grind in the grinder jar(not too munch) Or you can use mortar pestle also.
In another bowl add soaked sabudana along with roasted peanut powder, sugar and salt. I have added salt here, while preparing the mixture. You can add salt later on also once the khichadi is done.
Mix it very well so that all the ingredients mix with each other. Keep this mixture aside till the time we will start the tempering process.
Take a Pan and heat 2 tablespoon of oil, Once the oil get heated then add cumin seeds.
Once the cumin seeds get browned , add some peanuts and finely chopped green chillies.
Fry them for few seconds then add chopped potato and let it cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
When the potatoes are almost done, add the mixture of sabudana and saute till our sabudana get soft and translucent. Stirring continuously in between to avoid sticking to the bottom.
Our sabudana khichadi is ready now, Serve this "Sabudana Khichadi" with lemon or curd.
