Quick Murmura chivda Recipe Ingredients
- 2.5 cups Murmura (Puffed Rice)
- 1 cup Pohe(Flattened rice)
- 2 tablespoon Peanuts
- 2 green Chillies
- 10-12 Curry Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Oil
Quick Murmura chivda preparation
Heat oil in a thick based kadai, add 2 tablespoon raw peanuts and fry them till they get light brown in colour.
Then add chopped green chillies and fry them for 2-3 seconds.
Now add curry leaves and cover a lid on kadai.
After few seconds, add turmeric powder and saute the mixture.
Then immediately add Murmura (puffed rice) and flattened rice (Poha).
Stir murmura and poha mixture nicely, So that it will properly coated with turmeric colour.
Now add salt to taste and 1 teaspoon sugar.
Then keep mixing continuously on lower flame until puffed rice turns crispy and in light yellow colour.
Now serve Murmura chivda with some chopped onion and tomato topping.
