- 2 cups Idli batter
- 1 medium size Onion, finely chopped
- 1 small size Tomato, finely chopped
- 2-3 Green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
- 2-3 teaspoon Oil
In Idli batter, Add chopped green chillies, onions, tomato, coriander leaves and salt. If idli batter already have salt then adjust the salt quantity.
Mix the batter very well.
Heat the paniyaram pan and grease each mould with a some oil.
Now pour spiced idli batter into each mould.
Then allow it to cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes till the edges get golden brown colour.
Turn them carefully using a spoon or a wooden skewer. Add few drops of oil to the mould edges and allow to cook them for 2-3 minutes.
Make sure that both the sides are cooked properly with nice golden brown colour and spongy texture to each paniyaram. You can follow the same process to cook remaining paniyaram's.
You can serve this hot Paniyaram with coconut chutney.
