Paneer Paratha Recipe Ingredients
- Wheat dough
- 2 cups wheat flour/atta
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
- Water as required
- Paneer Stuffing
- 250 gms paneer/cottage cheese
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 3-4 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
- salt to taste
- Ghee for roasting parathas
Paneer Paratha Preparation
Take 2 cups of whole wheat flour, add 1/2 teaspoon salt , 1 tablespoon of Ghee or oil in a bowl and mix it properly.
Pour some water and mix all the Paratha dough content thoroughly till it gets smooth and soft. Once the dough is ready make it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile we will prepare Paneer stuffing.
Now lets start to make Paneer Paratha stuffing, First you need to crumbled paneer well with your hands or you can use grated Paneer. Now add finely chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix all the content very well so that it looks uniformly.
Take two balls from dough. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into 3-inch diameter circles. Place the paneer stuffing in the center. Put another rolled dough and press the edges, so that it will get sealed properly.
Sprinkle some flour and roll each stuffed paratha about 8 to 10 inches in diameter.
Heat a tava/pan and place the first rolled paratha on it. Cook for few seconds and flip it to other side.
Apply some ghee on each side of paratha, Flip and continue to cook until both the sides become browned.
Our first Paneer Paratha is ready now :) Repeat the same process for remaining parathas.
Serve all hot and yummy parathas with yogurt or you can use tomato sauce also.
