Baby Corn Fritters Recipe
Baby corn fritters Ingredients
- 10-12 Baby Corns
- 2 tablespoon Yogurt / Curd
- 2 Green Chillies
- 6-7 Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Garam masala
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon All purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour
- 1 tablespoon Rice flour
- 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Baby corn fritters Preparation
In a blender jar, take some coriander leaves, green chillies, curry leaves, garlic cloves and ginger. Blend them into coarse paste.
Take this blended paste in a bowl then add all purpose flour, corn flour and rice flour.
Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt.
Finally add 2 tablespoon of yogurt and 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice. We are using thick yogurt here for marination, If yogurt is not thick then your batter will become watery and it would not coat properly on baby corns.
Mix it nicely and make a smooth paste. Leave it for a 5-10 minutes to marinate.
Meanwhile cut the baby corns into half strips, so that they will come out with nice crispy coating.
Now add the baby corns into marinated mixture and mix it properly.
Deep fry the marinated baby corns on low flame until they get browned and crisp.
Our crispy, tangy baby corn fritters are ready now, serve it with tomato ketchup.
